Stargroom is a new dog and cat grooming salon in Rolle, in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, run by a certified groomer. It came to Pixerry before opening, with no website and no brand identity yet.

Opening a grooming salon in a small lakeside town means competing for a short list of local searches. Stargroom was getting ready to open its doors in Rolle. Other salons in the area already held the first results on Google, and they had years of reviews and visibility behind them.
The real problem was time. The salon had no logo, no brand style, no copy and no website, and the opening date was fixed. Every week without a presence online meant pet owners would book somewhere else, and might stay there.
The brief: launch a brand, a website and a search presence together, before the first client walks in.
A Webflow Landing Page Built to Win Local Grooming Searches
Stargroom needed local SEO that worked from opening day, not months later. Pet owners in Vaud look for a groomer on Google Maps, in search results and more and more often by asking AI assistants. The salon had to show up in all three, with a page that turns a search into a booking request.
That called for one fast landing page, not a large site. The design had to feel playful and different, because a generic grooming page would blend in with the competition. Contact had to be easy, with several options and WhatsApp for people who prefer a quick message to a phone call. The structure also had to leave room for a blog, a shop and online booking on the same site later. Search work ran alongside the build through our SEO & GEO service, including Instagram posts and a Google Business Profile set up before launch.
The core goal: be the grooming salon people in Rolle find, trust and contact first.

A Grooming Brand, a Website and Local Rankings, All From Zero
The hardest part was creating a brand people would recognise and winning keywords at the same time, in 5 days. There was no brand book to work from, and the copy had to be written from scratch. Competing salons already ranked for the obvious terms. The page also had to be clear enough for AI assistants to understand and cite, which is the aim of GEO and AEO, optimising content so tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity can recommend it.
We built the brand and the search strategy as one piece of work, not two.
- We designed the visual identity in Figma first, so the website and the pre-launch Instagram posts shared one style that stands apart from other salons.
- We wrote the copy around the terms local pet owners really type, in both French and English, such as “toilettage chien Rolle” and “dog groomer near me”.
- We stated clearly what the salon does, where it is and who it serves, so AI assistants could describe it correctly.
- We built on Webflow because it lets the salon add a blog, a shop and online booking later without a rebuild.
- We placed WhatsApp next to the other contact options and set up the Google Business Profile before launch, so the salon could appear in local results and get messages from day one.
Top Google Positions and a Landing Page That Converts
In its first month, Stargroom’s website reached a 29.06% click-through rate from Google search.
The salon is now found for the local searches it was built for. The playful design was approved for conversion, and visitors can reach the salon in the way they prefer. The Webflow structure is ready for the next steps, with no rebuild needed.

The salon now gets clicks from people who are ready to book, not just browsing.
- Within three months, the salon’s target terms reached an average Google position between 1.0 and 2.06.
- Organic clicks come from French and English searches, including “toilettage chien Rolle”, “toiletteur chien”, “dog grooming” and “grooming salon near me”.
- These keywords carry real local intent, and they lead to actual visits to the salon.
- Non-branded local terms such as “salon de toilettage Rolle” give the salon room to grow its visibility further.
- The design is clear enough to convert today and ready to take a blog, a shop and online booking tomorrow.

Local Search Starts Before the Doors Open
If you are opening or relaunching a local business, start SEO before launch, not after. A Google Business Profile, a few social posts and copy written around real local searches can be ready by opening day. Give rankings a few months to settle, and choose a platform that can grow with you, so early search gains are not lost in a rebuild. A small business can rank at the top locally when design and search are planned together from day one.
